South Texas Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition
Steering Committee Member & Strategic Liaison
I helped establish the South Texas Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition to strengthen collaboration between law enforcement, nonprofits, and survivor services. My work focused on public advocacy, organizing large-scale awareness events, and improving coordination to ensure survivors received critical support.
Puerto Rico Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition
Policy & Advocacy Strategist
I organized and launched Puerto Rico’s first anti-human trafficking coalition, bridging government agencies and nonprofits to push for stronger survivor protections. I helped draft policy proposals and led awareness efforts, laying the foundation for a coalition that was later absorbed by the Ricky Martin Foundation for long-term impact.
Mentes Puertorriqueñas en Acción
Leadership Development & Strategic Program Advisor
I worked with Mentes Puertorriqueñas en Acción, as their Interim Executive Director, to refine leadership programs and streamline operations. My efforts helped strengthen sustainability, connect young advocates to policy and grassroots initiatives, and build a culture of civic engagement for future leaders.
Participatory Budgeting Project
Grant Development & Storytelling Coordinator
I supported the Participatory Budgeting Project in San Juan, PR, by securing grants and coordinating community engagement. My focus was on making the process accessible, ensuring more residents could have a say in how public funds were allocated, strengthening civic participation and government transparency.
